A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTO REPAIR TECHNICIANAs an Auto Repair Technician, you have the important job of repairing vehicles and ensuring they're safe and ready to roll! When a car has been in a collision, you work with your team to identify issues and disassemble damaged parts.
You perform auto body repairs on metal and plastic, straightening frames and welding in new panels.
A focused and careful worker, you also install new parts such as radiators and condensers.
Committed to always doing your best, you strive to reassemble cars to their pre-accident condition.
Attentive to detail, you perform scans and make calibrations.
With safety as your top priority, you carry out system function and quality control checks.
Finally, you perform test drives to make sure the vehicles are properly fixed and running smoothly.
You feel great knowing that your hard work gets our customers safely back on the road!QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTO REPAIR TECHNICIAN Valid driver's license with a good driving record At least 3 years of experience as an automotive repair technician Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and lift 70
pounds Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding drug screening Willingness to complete ongoing training such as I-CAR Automotive repair experience is required for this role, but we are always willing to help you continue your education.
